Sorry for not updating our blog sooner, we are
exhausted from the two busy weeks we had...

We want to start
by thanking everyone for cooperating with our FRUIT PROJECT. It was great fun
and we learnt a lot from the experience.

Ok, now it's time for us to tell you about our
eventful weeks...
We learnt/revised some new vocabulary: FRUITS!
We made a beautiful fruit crown (you can check our
photo section) and we ate some delicious fruit.
We also invited Florencia Casalia, the school's
nutritionist, to tell us all about the properties of fruit.
After that talk it was our turn to play
nutritionists, so we had to think about making fruit more attractive for children.
We came up with some great ideas such as...

On the final stage of our project, we decided to
share with some friends in our school community our knowledge about fruit and
some delicious fresh juice, but for that we needed menus for our guests, posters
and since we were going to play waiters and waitresses we had to learn and
practice some phrases such as "Welcome" "Come, please sit
down" " Here's your menu" "What would you like to
drink?" " What can I get you?"
Forms IV and V came to visit, they were awesome
guests, they liked the juice and they gave us some interesting feedback.
Last but not least, we learnt two new sounds:
/m/ as in MOM, MOUSE AND MAT
and /d/ as in DOG, DUCK and RED
We had so much fun these past weeks! WELL DONE
EVERYONE!! You were all wonderful waiters and waitresses.
